Diversity is a key priority for the California Associatoin of REALTORS® (C.A.R.).  This resource page provides information on various programs and projects available.

WomanUP!
Even though the real estate industry is predominantly female, women are underrepresented in leadership positions at both the brokerage and senior management levels. The goal of C.A.R.’s Women’s Initiative is to create a community where mentors and leaders can communicate, collaborate, advocate for, and support one another.

Latino Initiative
The Latino Initiative Voices in Action program provides information and resources to members, it includes materials on homebuying and fraud prevention.

At Home With Diversity 
NAR's At Home With Diversity course offers information about conducting business in culturally competent ways.  It includes updated statistics, fair housing laws, business plan development, business etiquette and more.  Click on the course title above for more information on taking the class or becoming an instructor.

NAR Funding for Association Diversity Projects
Local and state associations can apply for financial support for programs and activities that position REALTORS® as leaders in our increasingly diverse communities. The Equal Opportunity-Cultural Diversity Committee (EO-CD) believes that providing resources to state and local associations is a key strategy in NAR's overall diversity program.
