On behalf of HAF Chair Sharon Barron, to alert you that an email was sent out stating that the C.A.R. Spring Business Meeting and Legislative Day will NOT be held as scheduled from April 28 to May 1. The email was titled “CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS DIRECTOR UPDATE".

C.A.R. leadership is considering various alternatives for Leg Day and the Business Meetings, including possibly conducting virtual meetings using video conferencing technology, rescheduling the meetings to take place in Sacramento at a later date, or perhaps a combination of the two. More information will be shared as soon as decisions have been made.

However, the 15th Annual HAF Golf Classic will be canceled. We are exploring possibilities including a new date, if the meetings are rescheduled for a later date in Sacramento. We are working with C.A.R. leadership, legal counsel, and other C.A.R. departments to address ticket refunds and sponsorship transfers to other events. We thank you in advance for your patience as we work through this.

Our number one concern continues to be the health and safety of our members and staff who participate in the C.A.R. Business Meetings, and who volunteer or work on behalf of the Association throughout the year.I know you all have the same priority.

For more information call Alma Menchaca at (213) 739-8352.

Sincerely,

Sharon Barron
